26/ Arab Parliament condemns Iranian attacks on Kuwait, Bahrain
Cairo, June 6 (Petra) – Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Yamahi on Saturday condemned what he described as repeated Iranian attacks targeting the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain using drones and ballistic missiles. He said the attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter and a serious breach of the sovereignty, security and stability of states. In a statement, Yamahi said the continuation of such acts reflects an unacceptable approach that undermines regional security and risks widening the conflict in the region, calling for a firm international response to deter and end these actions. He reaffirmed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and its support for all measures taken by both countries to protect their security, citizens and vital infrastructure. Yamahi stressed the rejection of any aggression against Arab states, noting that the security of Gulf countries is an integral part of Arab national security and that any threat to it constitutes a threat to collective Arab security. //Petra// AK
