Amman, June 3 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Hunaiti received Kuwaiti Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Daraj Shuraiaan on Wednesday for talks on enhancing military and defence cooperation.

The meeting, attended by the Kuwaiti military attaché in Amman and senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces, focused on ways to expand military cooperation and develop the strategic partnership between the armed forces of Jordan and Kuwait.

Hunaiti underscored the depth of Jordanian-Kuwaiti relations and their importance in promoting regional security and stability, highlighting the strong ties that continue to underpin cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Shuraiaan affirmed the Kuwaiti Armed Forces' commitment to broadening military cooperation and strengthening the exchange of expertise and experiences with the Jordan Armed Forces.
