Amman, June 3 (Petra) – The Southern Military Region on Wednesday thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics across its western border using three drones, in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.

According to a military source, border guards detected the drones, successfully intercepting and downing them inside Jordanian territory.

The seized narcotics were confiscated and handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation and legal action.
