  25/ Volleyball Federation Approves 2026 Work Plan, Budget, Appoints Vice President

Amman, June 3 (Petra) – The Board of Directors of the Jordan Volleyball Federation, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Aya bint Faisal, approved the federation's 2026 work plan and estimated budget during a meeting held Wednesday as part of efforts to advance the sport and strengthen institutional performance.

The board also appointed Farah Badarneh as vice president of the federation, a move aimed at enhancing institutional governance and leveraging national expertise to support the federation's strategic objectives.

During the meeting, the board welcomed its new members, Ghassan Muammarbashi, Sarah Ahmad and Abdul Karim Shaaban, underscoring their anticipated role in supporting the federation's development agenda and contributing to the achievement of its goals in the coming period.

Members reviewed the federation's work plan for 2026, which includes a comprehensive schedule of domestic championships, programs to prepare national teams for regional and international competitions, and initiatives designed to expand participation in the sport and elevate technical standards across all levels.

The board also examined mechanisms for financing and implementing the planned programs through the approved budget, with discussions focusing on ensuring the sustainability of institutional operations and supporting the continued development of volleyball in Jordan.
