19/ Kuwait Condemns Continued Iranian Attacks
Amman, July 16 (Petra) -- Kuwait on Thursday strongly condemned the continued "heinous Iranian aggression" against its territory, saying the attacks represent an ongoing hostile approach, a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and a serious breach of international law, the UN Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026. In a statement, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country holds Iran "fully accountable" for the continued attacks and their consequences. Warning of its repercussions, the ministry said the continued aggression against Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council member states exacerbates regional tensions, undermines security and stability, demanding Iran to "immediately" halt the attacks. Kuwait also affirmed it will continue taking all necessary measures to protect its territory, citizens, residents and national interests, while reserving all its legitimate rights under international law. //Petra// NQ
