Ma'an, July 15 (Petra) -- Al-Hussein bin Talal University (AHU), represented by its Faculty of Information Technology and the Deanship of Student Affairs, has hosted an introductory exhibition for the "Jordan Programmers (JoCodes)" program to showcase its digital training pathways to students.

The program is an initiative of the Youth, Technology, and Jobs project under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, implemented in cooperation with the Hello World company and the Crown Prince Foundation.

The exhibition, held in the lobby of the Deanship of Student Affairs, drew significant interest from university students, academic staff, and administrative personnel. The initiative offers free, self-paced training tracks in artificial intelligence, data analysis, web programming, and Android application development, culminating in accredited professional certificates.

Sumaya Abu Saleh, the university's coordinator and liaison officer with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, said the university is committed to enhancing students' digital skills and aligning educational outcomes with labor market demands. She noted that the program provides a qualitative opportunity to empower students and boost their professional readiness.

Moamen Abu Househ, communications manager for the JoCodes program, expressed pride in collaborating with Al-Hussein bin Talal University, stressing the importance of reaching youth across Jordanian universities to equip them with future-ready skills.

Ahmad Al-Shamayleh, the communications coordinator for the southern region, praised the high engagement at the exhibition, confirming that support will continue to help students take full advantage of the training opportunities.

The event concluded with a large number of students registering for the program, marking a successful step in the ongoing cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to support digital transformation and youth skill development.
