Aqaba, July 15 (Petra) – Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) held a coordination meeting on Wednesday with government agencies and strategic partners in the transport and logistics sector to discuss enhancing the flow of trade and supply chains, and facilitating the movement of domestic and transit trade through Aqaba. The meeting tackled executive measures to expedite handling operations, streamline inland commercial transport and transit trade procedures, and remove obstacles that might hinder the smooth flow of goods to ensure the provision of more efficient and faster services. Participants stressed the importance of continued coordination and integration among various stakeholders to promote Aqaba's competitiveness as a regional logistics hub, improve the efficiency of the port system, increase trade and handling activity, and support supply chains.
