Amman, July 14 (Petra) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday slammed Iran's renewed missile and drone attacks targeting Jordan and Bahrain, calling them a "flagrant violation" of state sovereignty and a threat to regional security and stability.

In its statement , the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated its solidarity with Amman and Manama, pledging support for measures to safeguard their security and stability.

The ministry also condemned an Iranian attack earlier Tuesday on two UAE oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. The attack killed one Indian national and injured eight others, including Indian and Ukrainian crew members.
