58/ Muslim World League condemns Iranian attacks on Jordan and Gulf states
Amman, July 12 (Petra) -- The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned on Sunday the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman, as well as operations targeting commercial shipping. The league stated that these actions violate the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the rules of good neighborliness. In a statement issued Sunday, the MWL General Secretariat renewed its condemnation of these repeated attacks, describing them as criminal actions that violate all religious values, international laws, and humanitarian norms, while undermining efforts to restore regional security and stability. The league emphasized its full solidarity with the nations targeted by the attacks, expressing firm support for all measures they take to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens and residents. //Petra// AF
