Amman, July 12 (Petra) - The Social Security Corporation (SSC) on Sunday called on pharmacies to ensure all their employees are officially registered for social security coverage.

The SSC urged pharmacy owners and authorized managers to visit their local branch to register their businesses or add unrecorded staff.

The corporation warned that non-compliant pharmacies would face penalties under the Social Security Law.

Field inspectors have begun nationwide visits to audit compliance, according to the SSC, adding that inspection campaigns will soon include other commercial sectors.
