21/ Educational initiative honors volunteers in Zarqa for supporting students

Zarqa, July 11 (Petra) -- The "Qatrah Ghaith" educational initiative honored its volunteers on Saturday in recognition of their efforts to support students and enhance the educational process during a ceremony at the King Abdullah II Cultural Center.

Haifa Al-Dughmi, Director of Zarqa Youth Directorate, said youth initiatives are an important resource for harnessing the energy of young people and strengthening the values of giving and social responsibility. She praised the initiative's tangible impact in providing academic support to students whose circumstances had otherwise hindered their education.

Mohammad Al-Zoubi, Director of Zarqa Culture Directorate, said integration between the culture and youth sectors serves as a fundamental pillar for consolidating national identity and raising community awareness. He emphasized the importance of voluntary initiatives in translating this awareness into developmental programs and projects that serve society.

The ceremony included a lecture by activist Qusayr Al-Osaili on education in the Prophet's biography, alongside presentations of local success stories and a discussion paper highlighting the primary challenges facing the education sector.
