Amman, July 10 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, and Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Badr Abdelatty, discussed the latest regional developments and the repercussions of the escalating tensions during a phone call on Friday.

The two ministers strongly condemned what they described as Iran's "aggressive attacks" against Arab countries, reaffirming their rejection of any actions that undermine the security, sovereignty, stability, and safety of Arab states and their peoples.

Safadi stressed that Jordan will continue to take all necessary and available measures to safeguard its citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty. He also reiterated the Kingdom's full solidarity with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and their efforts to confront the Iranian attacks and protect their national security and citizens.

For his part, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Jordan in confronting the attacks, underscoring Cairo's support for the Kingdom amid the ongoing regional escalation.
