  2/ Mild Summer Weather Friday Before Temperatures Rise Over Weekend - JMD 

Amman, July 10 (Petra)-- The Kingdom will experience mild summer weather across most regions on Friday, while hotter conditions will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

Northwesterly winds will be moderate, becoming active at times.

The department's forecast indicates a slight rise in temperatures on Saturday, with typical summer conditions expected across most areas. Relatively hot weather will affect the Badia (desert regions), while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba will remain hot. Moderate northwesterly winds are expected.

Temperatures will continue to climb on Sunday, bringing relatively hot conditions to most parts of the Kingdom and hot weather to the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Moderate northwesterly winds will persist.

Similar weather is forecast for Monday, with relatively hot conditions across most regions and hot weather continuing in the Badia, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will remain moderate and northwesterly.

Friday's forecast temperatures range between 18C and 31C in eastern Amman and 16C to 29C in western Amman. Highs and lows are expected to reach 28C/15C in the northern highlands, 27C/14C in the Sharah Highlands, 35C/18C in the Badia, 31C/19C in the plains, 38C/22C in the northern Jordan Valley, 40C/26C in the southern Jordan Valley, and 39C/25C in both the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
