21/ Experts talk education, culture in Amra City
Amman, January 31 (Petra) – Experts and specialists on Saturday called for focusing on educational and cultural aspects in shaping the Amra City project, highlighting the need for a sustainable urban model that reflects Jordanian identity, high quality of life and modern standards. During the education and culture session at the Prime Ministry, moderated by Hassan Katkhuda and Ashraf Bani Mohammad, participants said that the new city should foster creativity and innovation through schools, universities and cultural institutions. They called for technical and vocational education and partnerships with international universities. Experts called for a balance between modernity and Jordanian heritage, incorporating national identity into architectural design, cultural spaces, museums and theaters. They emphasised the use of modern technology and artificial intelligence, high-quality services and solutions to challenges in existing cities, including traffic and mobility issues. Participants stressed that the city should nurture talent, support innovation and align educational and cultural initiatives with future labour market needs, while maintaining a clear vision for governance, investment and economic development. //Petra// AK
