  29/ Army Chief receives AMIDEAST CEO

Amman, Jan 28 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday welcomed AMIDEAST CEO Greta Holtz and an accompanying delegation at the General Command Headquarters.

Huneiti, in the presence of senior officers of the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF), discussed aspects of joint cooperation and ways to develop partnerships in education, capacity building, and human resource development, in line with JAF's vision and aspirations to invest in human resources and enhance scientific and professional competence.

They reviewed programs and initiatives implemented by the organization in Jordan, particularly those related to skills development, supporting study and training opportunities, and raising the efficiency of human resources, all of which contribute to supporting the national development process and strengthening the role of institutions in serving the community.

The army chief stressed the importance of partnerships with educational and development institutions, noting that JAF placed great importance on training and empowerment programs of its personnel, given its national role alongside its defense duty.

Holtz expressed her appreciation for JAF's role in supporting educational and community initiatives, affirming AMIDEAST's commitment to expanding cooperation with national institutions to serve the goals of development and capacity building in the Kingdom.

AMIDEAST is a leading non-profit organization working in the field of education and cultural exchange in the region, focusing on implementing educational and capacity-building programs and supporting study and training opportunities in partnership with local and international institutions.
