Amman, January 27 (Petra) Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti visited on Tuesday the Electronic Warfare Directorate, where he was received by its director.

Huneiti was briefed on the directorate's roles and responsibilities in maintaining the information security system of the Jordanian Armed Forces, in coordination with security agencies.

The briefing covered operational and training activities, future plans and recent development and modernisation efforts.

He called for leveraging advanced technologies and systems to keep pace with evolving operational requirements, enhance the ability to address various security challenges and ensure high efficiency across different operational environments.

Huneiti commended the directorate's staff for the advanced level they have achieved, praising their professionalism and high competence in carrying out their duties.
