24/ IEC Launches Program to Build Political Parties’ Visual Identity
Amman, Jan. 24 (Petra) - The Independent Election Commission (IEC) on Saturday launched a program titled "Building the Visual Identity of Political Parties," with the participation of party leaders and in cooperation with the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). According to an IEC statement, the program is being implemented with the support of Dutch political parties, which are sharing their expertise and experience in party branding and election campaigning with Jordanian parties. The initiative is part of a series of programs aimed at strengthening and building parties' political and organizational capacities. The two-day program covers a range of specialized topics, including Dutch election campaign experiences and their comparison with the Jordanian context, the development and adjustment of campaign strategies, and party brand building. It also focuses on the role of women in political discourse and identity, as well as practical applications for identifying target groups and crafting political messages. The program further includes advanced modules on party brand guidelines, defining core values and strategic direction, logo design, voter mobilization and turnout campaigns, and building party identity between election cycles. It also addresses the design of party slogans and colors and the preparation of introductory presentations, case studies, and professional presentations. The initiative aims to transfer practical knowledge and expertise and adapt them to the Jordanian party landscape, contributing to the development of more effective and professional political parties. //Petra// AF
