Amman, Jan 12 (Petra) - The Azm Party bloc praised the royal directives to increase allocations to the University Student Support Fund, saying the move reflects the Hashemite leadership’s commitment to supporting higher education and empowering university students across all governorates.

In a statement on Monday, the bloc noted that the royal directives come at an important time amid the academic and economic challenges faced by students, emphasizing that the increased fund allocations provide direct support for continuing their educational journey. The initiative embodies a clear strategic vision focused on investing in Jordanians and enhancing their educational and professional capacities.

The bloc also commended the significant role played by the Hashemite leadership, under His Majesty King Abdullah II and HRH Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, in supporting youth and students, noting that ongoing royal initiatives form a cornerstone for the future of education in Jordan and empower the new generation to contribute effectively to national development.

It added that the royal initiative will help ease financial burdens on students and their families, encourage academic excellence and innovation, align with state goals for education development and human resource enhancement, and support youth initiatives aimed at building a knowledgeable, qualified generation capable of serving their country and society.
