Amman, Jan 12 (Petra) - Frankfurt Airport officials on Monday cancelled a significant number of flights due to snowfall and warnings of icy conditions.

According to Deutsche Welle, a spokeswoman for Fraport, the airport operator, said that of 1,052 flights scheduled for the day, 98 were cancelled, adding that the number could rise as major disruptions are expected.
