Salt, Jan. 7 (Petra) -- Al-Balqa Applied University has signed a strategic agreement with Almotahida Educational Production to strengthen collaboration in digital education, educational technology, applied training, and research, supporting the university’s mission to modernize learning and equip students for the digital era.

The agreement was signed by Haitham Shibli, Vice President of the University for Planning and Quality Assurance, and Fahmi Balawneh, CEO of Almotahida.

University President Ahmed Fakhri Ajlouni highlighted that the partnership aligns with the university’s strategy to form high-impact collaborations with national institutions, enhance the practical aspects of academic programs, support digital transformation in higher education, and prepare students for the workforce, while keeping innovation and quality at the forefront.

Shibli emphasized that the MoU reflects the university’s commitment to creating a modern learning environment powered by digital tools and artificial intelligence, aiming to develop the skills of both students and faculty in line with international quality standards.

He added that the university’s strategic plan prioritizes institutional digital transformation and sustainable smart technology, with upcoming initiatives to digitize education, services, and operations, leverage AI and data analytics, and ensure robust cybersecurity and governance.

Balawneh noted that the collaboration represents a key step for Almotahida in supporting academic institutions with advanced digital learning solutions, drawing on its expertise in educational production, digital platforms, and e-learning programs. The partnership will deliver high-quality learning content, specialized training programs, and integrate academic knowledge with cutting-edge educational technology.

The MoU covers training in educational technology, designing digital content, joint training programs and diplomas, participation in academic events, research collaboration, publication initiatives, and hosting digital learning programs on the university’s platforms.
