36/ Kerosene price unchanged; 90-octane gasoline, diesel rise JD.01
Amman, February 28 (Petra) – The Oil Derivatives Pricing Committee held its monthly meeting on Saturday to set the local selling prices of oil derivatives for the period from March 1 to March 31. During the meeting, the committee reviewed global crude oil and petroleum derivative prices for February and compared them with January's figures. The review showed an increase in the average global prices of 90-octane and 95-octane gasoline, as well as diesel fuel. Based on the changes, the committee decided to raise the price of 90-octane gasoline to JD.820 per liter, up from JD.810 and 95-octane gasoline to JD1.050 per liter, up from JD1.035. The price of diesel rose to JD.655 per liter, up from JD.645. The committee kept the price of kerosene unchanged at JD.550 per liter and maintained the price of a 12.5-kilogram domestic gas cylinder at JD7 per cylinder. The average price of Brent crude oil rose to $71.5 per barrel in February, compared with $66.8 per barrel in January. //Petra// AK
