11/ KHCF, Maersk Jordan sign partnership to enhance cancer patient care services
Amman, Feb. 25 (Petra) –King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Maersk Jordan on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support and enhance cancer patient care services at King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC). The agreement aims to ensure continuous delivery of the "highest" levels of specialized care to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. According to a KHCF statement, the agreement, which was signed by the Foundation's Director General Nisreen Qatamesh and Maersk Jordan General Manager Rakan Madi, reflects the logistics company's commitment to support patients facing one of life's most difficult challenges and strengthen Jordan's capacity to provide "world-class" cancer treatment and healthcare. Talking at the signing ceremony, Qatamesh stated: "We are proud of our partnership with Maersk, which represents a model of corporate responsibility and the role of the private sector in supporting cancer patients and enabling the King Hussein Cancer Center to continue providing the best levels of specialized healthcare." In turn, Madi said this memo comes within the framework of Maersk's commitment to social responsibility and reflects the importance of integration between the private and private sectors.
