5/ Civil Status and Passports Department's express service office opens

Amman, Feb 23 (Petra) – Interior Minister Mazen Faraya on Monday inaugurated the express service office at the Civil Status and Passports Department, which was upgraded with support from Zain Jordan.

During the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by the department's Director General Ghaith Al-Tayeb and CEO of Zain Jordan, Fahd Al-Jassem, the minister noted the importance of the upgrade of the express service office to meet rising needs and improve the quality of service.

The Express Service Office's performance should be focused on enhancing customer experience and providing a more organized and efficient service to fulfill the aspiration for modern and effective government services, he said.

Faraya commended Zain for undertaking the upgrade of the office toward a better and smoother work flow that saves time and effort for service recipients.

Al-Tayeb said the office provides various services during the week, including official holidays and late hours, enabling citizens to obtain their documents as suits their circumstances.

Zain, for its part, said its support for the office is part of its social responsibility and a keenness to strengthen its partnerships with public sector institutions through contribution to development of government facilities, which directly improves services to the public.
