Amman, Feb. 12 (Petra) –Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport, Fares Abu Dayyeh, met on Thursday with representatives from Jordan's industrial estates and Amman Chamber of Industry to discuss mechanisms for providing and expanding public transport services to Jordan's industrial zones, particularly Al-Qastal Industrial Estate.

The meeting, which was attended by experts from the Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Regulatory Commission, addressed the current state of worker transport services in industrial estates and their actual needs, in terms of the number of bus routes and frequencies.

The discussions also aimed to streamline workers' access to transport network, reduce travel costs and time, and support continuity of industrial activity.

During the meeting, the participants agreed to prepare a study detailing various alternatives and feasibility of implementing the most suitable option in the near future, according to a ministry statement.
