  9/ German MP visits Princess Taghrid Institute, reviews women empowerment programs

Amman, Feb. 5 (Petra) – German Member of Parliament Mandy Eissing on Thursday visited the Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training (PTI) in Amman as part of an official visit within the framework of ongoing Jordanian-German cooperation in education, skills development, and social inclusion.

According to a statement issued by the Foundation, the meeting was attended by representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation Jordan team and reviewed the Foundation’s development vision, which focuses on empowering women and girls through vocational training, capacity building, and linking skills development to sustainable economic opportunities.

Director General of the PTI Aghadir Juhaian said the Institute operates under a comprehensive development approach that places people at the center of the development process. She said the Institute seeks to achieve sustainable impact through programs designed to address actual needs and implemented through effective strategic partnerships.

Juhaian underscored the importance of cooperation with international partners in supporting skills development initiatives and strengthening institutional capacities.

The visit comes as part of joint Jordanian-German initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable development through partnership-based and integrated approaches.
