Amman, Feb 2 (Petra)- Minister of Environment Ayman Suleiman stated that the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) is the entity authorized to issue a tender to three specialized companies for waste collection, recycling, and environmentally safe disposal, as part of its role in implementing the executive program to reduce random waste dumping.

The minister told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Monday that the ministry’s role focuses on setting public policies and environmental oversight, in coordination with relevant authorities, to enhance the sustainable waste management system.
