Amman, August 20 (Petra) -- The Jordan Football Association (JFA) on Thursday officially unveiled Moroccan tactician Badou Zaki as the new head coach of Nashama, ushering in an ambitious new era for the national team during a press conference at JFA headquarters.

Zaki outlined a performance-driven vision focused on tactical cohesion, physical readiness, and player evaluation to elevate the squad's competitive edge ahead of upcoming tournaments.

Speaking to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Zaki stated that the national team's advancement to the final stages of tournaments is no longer surprising, as Nashama has established itself among the top teams in Asia, noting that all eyes are now on what the team will deliver in the upcoming phase.

Zaki takes the helm with an eye toward major international benchmarks, including the 2027 Asian Football Confederation's Asian Cup, as the new technical staff prepares to roll out a comprehensive preparation strategy designed to elevate the national team's standing and strengthen its presence across the Asian football landscape.
