Mafraq, Aug 19 (Petra) – Al al-Bayt University confirmed on Wednesday that several students were expelled as a disciplinary measure following a recent on campus brawl.

In a statement, the university said investigations are under way to identify students seen in security camera footage and take "appropriate action against them, in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions."

The university's administration vowed it will not tolerate "any behavior that threatens the security of the university and the safety of students and staff."

It said firm legal and disciplinary action will be taken against "anyone who participated or will participate in inciting riots or disrupting public order on campus, ensuring a safe and stable university environment for all."
