Ramallah, Aug 11 (Petra) -- Six Palestinians, including three children and two women, were injured on Tuesday during an attack by Israeli settlers protected by Israeli forces in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

Marzouq Abu Naim, deputy head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, said in a statement that dozens of settlers, backed by Israeli troops, targeted Palestinians as they plowed their land in the village plain. Israeli forces fired tear gas at the residents, causing six people including three children and two women to suffer from suffocation.

In a separate development, Israeli forces blew up the home of a slain Palestinian in the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, and demolished 12 commercial structures at the entrance to the village of Anzah, south of Jenin.

The demolition in Anzah proceeded despite an ongoing court case regarding the properties without a final ruling having been issued, according to local officials.

Hisham Sadaka, head of the Anzah village council, said in a statement that Israeli forces raided the area accompanied by two military bulldozers and began demolishing the structures. Troops prevented the owners from clearing their belongings and closed the main road connecting Nablus and Jenin to vehicular traffic.

Ayman Amour, the owner of the properties, said the targeted complex comprised 12 commercial units, each spanning roughly 40 square meters, with total construction costs estimated at around $350,000.

In the Hebron governorate, Israeli forces delivered demolition notices targeting Khirbet Khallet al-Dabaa school as well as several residential units and farms in Masafer Yatta, south of the city. Forces also issued three notices ordering the evacuation and demolition of a farm.

Masafer Yatta has been subject to a sustained campaign of demolitions and evacuation orders. The Palestinian Ministry of Education condemned the targeted demolition notice against the Khirbet Khallet al-Dabaa school as part of an ongoing assault on educational facilities, noting it is the third school to receive a demolition order within a single month.

Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces conducted raids across multiple areas, launching search operations and detaining 22 Palestinians, including former prisoners.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Club said in a statement that Israeli forces raided various locations under heavy gunfire and arrested 22 individuals on suspicion of being wanted, adding that troops converted several residential homes into military posts during the operations.
