Moscow, Aug 10 (Petra) -- A Ukrainian drone strike on energy facilities in the central Russian city of Nizhnekamsk killed at least 13 people and injured about 50 others on Monday, Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The emergency services said in a statement that Nizhnekamsk was subjected to a large-scale drone attack targeting energy infrastructure. Among the dead were several foreign workers.

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals, while firefighting crews worked to contain the resulting blaze, the ministry added.
