25/ Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization wraps up free medical week in Gaza

Amman, August 10 (Petra) - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and the Jordanian Campaign concluded a free medical week in the Gaza Strip.

The initiative, run with Yas Medical Clinic from August 2 to 6, delivered 1,845 medical consultations and treatments across various specialties to relieve Gaza’s overburdened health sector.

The program offered care in general medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, dermatology, ENT, general surgery, and internal medicine, supported by pharmacy, laboratory, and nursing services.

According to statistical reports, the general medicine clinic saw 406 patients, followed by dentistry (327), dermatology (130), pediatrics (109), ENT (76), general surgery (17), and internal medicine and nephrology (12). Auxiliary services included 656 pharmacy visits, 98 lab tests, and 14 nursing procedures, delivering integrated care from diagnosis to treatment.

Designed to relieve pressure on local families, the initiative provided free, vital healthcare amid Gaza’s severe resource shortages and humanitarian crisis.
