21/ JAF opens Battalion Commanders Course for Jordanian, Arab officers
Amman, August 9 (Petra) – The 17th Battalion Commanders and Military Inspections Course was inaugurated on Sunday at the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College (RJCSC). The course brings together officers from various branches of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)– Arab Army and officers from brotherly Arab nations, in the presence of several senior college leaders. In its statement, RJCSC said the sessions aim to prepare and qualify officers "tactically and administratively" to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to perform duties of battalion commanders. The classes also focus on refining the participants' leadership qualities and enhancing their capabilities in the areas of military discipline, human resources management, and relevant inspections under a comprehensive training program. Featuring field practices, the four-week course covers a slew of issues aimed to enabling commanders to manage their units "efficiently and adequately." As for the agenda, topics focus on military leadership, training, security and tactical plans, and peacekeeping operations. //Petra// AG
