Amman, August 5 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD15.5 million on Wednesday, with 5.3 million shares traded through 3,791 transactions.

The general share price index closed at 3,969 points, down 0.45 percent.

The financial sector index fell 0.61 percent, the industrial sector index declined 0.22 percent, and the services sector index dropped 0.07 percent.

Of the 107 companies traded, 27 recorded share price gains, while 37 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices.
