Amman, April 30 (Petra)-- Senate Speaker Faisal Al-Fayez on Thursday extended his congratulations to workers on the occasion of Labor Day, marked on Friday.

In a statement, Al-Fayez conveyed his highest regards and appreciation to workers across all sectors, expressing the Senate’s pride in and respect for every male and female worker in both the public and private spheres.

He emphasized that the Senate highly values the sincere and dedicated efforts of Jordan’s workforce, describing them as the driving force behind national development and key contributors to economic growth and progress across various fields.

Al-Fayez affirmed that the Senate will spare no effort in supporting workers, strengthening their role, safeguarding their rights, and ensuring their social and job security. He noted that these efforts align with the vision and directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to advance development, prosperity, and decent living standards for all citizens.

He added that the Senate will continue to stand by workers, ensuring that relevant laws and legislation protect their dignity and guarantee their legal and living rights.
