Amman, April 28 (Petra) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi on Tuesday discussed relations and regional developments in a phone call with Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis.

According to a Foreign Ministry statement, the two ministers stressed their shared commitment to advancing cooperation across various fields, both bilaterally and through the trilateral mechanism with Cyprus, as well as within the framework of partnership with the European Union.

The duo also underscored the importance of political consultations scheduled for later Tuesday between the two foreign ministries, calling for building on their outcomes.

Safadi and Gerapetritis reviewed regional developments, prospects for de-escalation, and ongoing efforts to enhance the region's security and stability.
