Amman, April 26 (Petra) --Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading value of JD 8.6 million on Sunday, as 4.8 million shares were traded through 3,250 transactions.

The ASE general price index rose by 0.38 percent to 3,852 points.

Indexes of the industrial and services sectors increased by 1.36 percent and 0.49 percent, respectively, while the financial industry edged down by 0.01 percent.

Out of the 90 companies traded, 33 closed higher and 23 declined, compared with their previous closing prices.
