Amman, April 25 (Petra) – The weather Saturday will be warm in most areas, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Sporadic showers are also forecast in the northeastern desert, possibly accompanied by thunder, which may affect northern regions at times. Winds will be moderate southeasterly, becoming active at times and stirring up dust, mainly in the desert areas.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), the weather Sunday will remain warm, while quite blistering conditions will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

On Monday, a noticeable drop in temperatures is expected. The JMD referred to a chance of scattered showers in the northern and eastern regions and parts of the central regions, sometimes accompanied by thunder.

Today's maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman range between 28-13 degrees Celsius, the level in northern mountains will stand at 24-11C, and the desert areas at 32-14C, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a scorching 34C, sliding to 20C at night.
