Abu Dhabi, April 25 (Petra) – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jassem Mohammed Budaiwi discussed strengthening the strategic partnership between the GCC and the European Union to support regional and international stability.

According to a statement issued on Saturday, Budaiwi made the remarks during an informal meeting between EU leaders and regional partners, attended by Arab and European heads of state in Nicosia, Cyprus.

He called for ensuring energy security and expanding strategic interconnection channels, stressing that such efforts would enhance infrastructure integration and serve shared interests.
