14/ Securities Commission Board approves 2nd private sector issuance of tradable Islamic bonds (Sukuk) on Amman Stock Exchange
Amman, April 25 (Petra) – Jordan Securities Commission Board of Commissioners on Saturday approved the second private sector issuance of the first tranche of restricted Mudaraba Sukuk (Islamic investment certificates), tradable on the Amman Stock Exchange, by Bandar Islamic Finance Company, valued at JD10 million. The decision is part of ongoing efforts to stimulate the Islamic Sukuk market, which offers diverse financing and investment options, in line with the vision of economic modernization and within the company's plan for multiple tranche issuances totaling JD100 million, according to the board. //Petra//SS
