Beirut, April 24 (Petra) – Two people were killed in airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on the town of Touline in southern Lebanon on Friday morning.

A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra)’s correspondent in Beirut that Israeli air raids targeted the town of Touline, followed by a second strike on the same area, along with additional raids on the town of Khirbet Selm.

The source added that artillery shelling was also reported in the city of Bint Jbeil and Wadi al-Slouqi.

Israeli surveillance drones were also seen flying over Beirut’s southern suburb at medium altitude, according to the same source.
