2/ Warm Weather to Prevail Through Sunday Before Temperatures Drop Monday

Amman, Apr. 24 (Petra)-- Weather conditions across the Kingdom on Friday are expected to remain generally warm, with medium- and high-altitude clouds gradually appearing over eastern and southeastern regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
Winds will be moderate, blowing from the northeast to northwest.

On Saturday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly, bringing warm conditions to most areas and relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-level clouds are expected, with intermittent rain showers likely in the northeastern Badia, which may be accompanied by thunder at times.

There is also a slight chance of brief light rain showers in limited parts of the northern regions. Winds will be moderate southeasterly, becoming active at times and causing dust, particularly in desert areas.

Sunday will see continued warm weather across most parts of the Kingdom, while conditions remain relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some medium- and high-altitude clouds are expected, with moderate southwesterly winds becoming more active during the afternoon hours.

A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected on Monday, with partly cloudy skies and mild weather prevailing in most regions. Conditions will remain relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Northwesterly winds will be moderate, picking up at times, especially in Badia regions, where they may stir up dust.

Temperatures in the capital Amman will reach a high of 25 degrees Celsius, and a low of 11 degrees.

Highs in the port city of Aqaba will range between a high of 34 degrees, sliding to 19 degrees at night.
