  18/ Bahrain opens nominations for UNESCO-backed ICT in Education Prize 2026

Amman, April 23 (Petra) -- Bahrain’s Cultural Attaché office in Amman announced it has opened nominations for the King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Education 2026, awarded in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

In a statement Thursday, the attaché office said the award recognizes "innovative" initiatives and projects that leverage technology to enhance education quality and develop teaching methods, in line with the global digital transformation of the education sector.

Organizers invited educational institutions and individuals in Jordan to submit nominations, based on approved criteria focusing on innovation, applicability, and sustainable educational impact.

It added the award provides a "key" global platform to showcase "outstanding" educational experiences and strengthen their global presence, particularly in the ICT field in education.
