The program, delivered by trainer Jamalat Obeidat and attended by 27 young women from the center aged 18 to 24, aimed to strengthen awareness of the importance of environmental volunteer work, highlight climate change issues and their impacts, and equip participants with practical skills that support the protection of natural resources and promote positive environmental behavior.

Its activities included interactive sessions and workshops on sustainability concepts, the importance of green initiatives, and the role of youth in addressing environmental challenges, in addition to hands-on activities that fostered initiative and teamwork among participants.

The program concluded with a cleanup campaign around the center in a practical step to reinforce the values of volunteerism and community service.

In a related development, the Kufrsoum Agricultural Cooperative Association for Pomegranate Producers, represented by the Women's Empowerment Unit at Kufrsoum Secondary School for Girls, held a specialized workshop on soap-making attended by teachers and a group of students.

It also included a segment on the safe use of agricultural pesticides and methods for preparing spray solutions to ensure efficient spraying operations and achieve the best results.

The session is part of the Ministry of Agriculture's field school plan, implemented by the Royal Scientific Society under the supervision of the Directorate of Extension Programs in the agricultural extension sector.
