  10/ New Record in Dead Sea Panorama Race

Amman, April 18 (Petra) – Jordanian Amir Najjar made a remarkable feat, breaking the record for the fourth edition of the Panorama Hill Climb Race, held by Roger Feghali since 2024.

In the race in the Dead Sea area on Friday, Najjar clocked 2 minutes and 23.639 seconds, smashing the previous record of 2 minutes and 28.097 seconds, his third win in the race's history after wins in 2022 and 2025.

The race, which featured 28 competitors from Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, saw strong performances, where Hisham Najjar finished second, recording his best time of 2 minutes and 26.483 seconds, and Husam Salem came in third with a time of 2 minutes and 26.576 seconds, his best of the race.

In the front-wheel drive category, Mohammed Azzeh secured first place with a time of 2 minutes and 49.959 seconds, ahead of Amjad Hourani, who finished second with a time of 2 minutes and 50.452 seconds, while Raad Rashid came in third with a time of 2 minutes and 51.148 seconds.

In the rear-wheel drive category, Saudi Jean Lahoud topped the standings with a time of 2 minutes and 28.974 seconds, followed by Saif Mansour in second place with a time of 2 minutes and 40.553 seconds, and Khalil Mhaisen in third place with a time of 2 minutes and 49.063 seconds.

Organized by the Jordan Motorsport Federation and sponsored by several entities, including Zain Jordan, Toyota Gazoo Racing, Hala Radio, and Plus FM, the event saw fierce competition and outstanding performances by participants.
