Amman, Apr. 10 (Petra)-- In cooperation with the military security services and the Anti-Narcotics Department, the Southern Military Zone thwarted an effort to smuggle a significant amount of drugs using three drones on its western border early this morning, Friday.

After the drones were detected by the border guard forces and shot down inside Jordanian territory, the rules of engagement were put into effect, and the items confiscated were given to the appropriate authorities.
