New York, April 1 (Petra) -- Major U.S. stock indexes rose on Wednesday for a second consecutive session, posting varied gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 224 points to 46,565, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq advanced 250 points to 21,840. The S&P 500 index also rose by around 46 points to reach 6,575.
