Amman, Sep. 15 (Petra) – Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah on Monday discussed with a United States delegation, led by Jacob McGee from the State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic field.

Qudah and McGee underlined the depth of relations and the importance of building on them to support reform processes, promote private sector–led growth, and improve the investment climate and business environment, especially within the framework of their strategic partnership.

Qudah detailed Jordan’s efforts to strengthen the rule of law, safeguard labor and economic rights, and create a climate conducive to investment and trade through better governance and investor experience. He also outlined government priorities under the Economic Modernization Vision, including economic empowerment, raising sectoral competitiveness, and reinforcing the private sector’s role.
