Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Saud expressed appreciation for the invitation during a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Amman, Mohammed bin Hassan Mounes. The two officials discussed areas of cooperation and mechanisms to enhance collaboration in addressing water challenges.

Abu Saud underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral and regional cooperation to address water scarcity and climate-related pressures, highlighting the longstanding ties between the two countries. He also reviewed Jordan’s initiatives to tackle water challenges and climate change, noting Jordan’s commitment to share expertise with Arab partners, particularly Saudi Arabia, in water-related fields.
