Qudah highlighted Jordan’s role as "a gateway for Turkish goods to regional markets, while Türkiye serves as a major entry point for Jordanian products into Europe, particularly following the reopening of the Bab al-Hawa border crossing." Qudah stressed Jordan’s "keenness" to facilitate the access of Jordanian goods to the Turkish market and enhance their presence there, while valuing the Jordanian consumer’s confidence in Turkish products. He also affirmed that Jordan continues to work to optimize potential of its economic sectors despite regional and international challenges, believing that cooperation based on reciprocity and shared interests is essential for resilience. He pointed out that Türkiye’s participation in the "Integrated Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development" presents an opportunity for the private sectors in both countries to expand partnerships and launch joint projects. For his part, Bolat emphasized the need to develop agreements that would increase trade exchange and motivate private sectors in both countries to benefit from investment opportunities. He highlighted the importance of regional cooperation amid ongoing economic transformations, including potential arrangements that could involve Syria to facilitate trade and transit. The two ministers held bilateral discussions on ensuring continued follow-up on implementing agreed measures to strengthen economic cooperation. Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Dana Zoubi reviewed the outcomes of the two-day meetings, which covered visions and proposals for enhancing cooperation across multiple fields. The committee encouraged coordination between the Jordanian Businessmen Association and the Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board to organize joint events and exchange market information. According to a ministry statement, both sides agreed to explore preferential trade arrangements and improve compliance with international trade facilitation standards, as well as pursue cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, automotive, cement, textiles, plastics, machinery, fertilizers, and chemicals.
