The event, which brought together several deans, professors, faculty members, and students, is part of the university’s efforts to promote scientific research and enhance academic cooperation regionally and internationally by integrating digital technology into humanities and linguistic studies.

The forum included discussions of research papers on artificial intelligence, digital text analysis, e-linguistic education, and related topics, with the participation of researchers from India, Malaysia, Hungary, Algeria, the UAE, Qatar, and Jordan.

Vice President Ahmed Ajlouni, who inaugurated the event, emphasized the importance of utilizing digital technology to support the Arabic language and promote linguistic and humanities studies. He said language is a key human feature and a vital tool for communication and cultural exchange, forming a cornerstone of civilization and human progress.

He called for investing in digital tools to assess the Arabic language’s development and effectiveness, noting that integrating it with modern technology opens new prospects for scientific creativity and strengthens its position as a living and dynamic language.

For his part, Professor Mohammad Ibnian said the forum reflects the university’s commitment to merging technology with linguistic and humanistic research. He added that the center seeks to expand international cooperation by developing digital projects that support the Arabic language and encourage interaction with other languages and cultures.
